I'm sitting here reading through the comments like I usually do ... and the amount of positivity in this community is absolutely unreal - thank you to each and EVERY single one of you for being a part of this channel and our lives here in South West Scotland. ... like really .... THANK YOU!
Thank you for showing us a slice of your life. I appreciate the shots of Scotland too. My mother's side of the family hails from there. Best wishes from the USA. 🇺🇸
I have a question what you do if both horns of a cow foot bad?
Is anyone else trying to read his comments in his accent?
Hey Graham. Great channel 👏 👍 👌.Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪 . just wounding what is the worst damage a cow has done to you. And how much did it actually cost you been out of work. Ie time to heal and to trust the cows again. Great work brilliant channel 👏
I find your videos comforting and positive in a crazy world right now, each and every one. Thank you for sharing.
Why am I so fascinated. I have no interest in this but I can't stop watching
I love watching your “nasty” videos and my wife and kids can’t believe that I watch them but I find them educating and interesting!! Every time you start trimming the hove and the cow starts peeing I yell “He hit the pee button!!” They all start giggling at me.
Your American accent was enjoyable!
Just getting caught up after a hiatus, and I noticed one of my favorite parts is when you're using the knife and feeling out the edge of the ulcer for loose horn. I subconsciously feel the pressure release for the poor cows, must be such a relief.
Seeing this is oddly relaxing
Why not just wash the hoof with water to remove feces first? Your tools will get even more dirty than if the hoof was just washed.
Funny how his tools don't get any dirtier isn't it. FYI when he says, "First let's get it cleaned" He doesn't clean it by magic.
You are so amazing and what you do for animals is inspiring
I love seeing how much real care you put into each cow.
In dairy cows Sole ulcers are caused by the unnatural, unsuitable conditions these poor cows are kept in.
Thank you so much for showing the entire trim, sir. I grew up on a very small 6 cow farm where we milked our cows by hand. We NEVER heard for hoof trimming, back in the 80s but then our cattle never had any hoof problems either. All of the surfaces inside the barn, in all the pens, and, of course, the pasture was dirt so we didn't have anywhere the cattle could damage their hooves. It's VERY interesting to see the issues you encounter in the dairies, where the cattle walk on concrete. I'm guessing the concrete is there because it's much easier to clean, after 1000 head of cattle has walked on it as they come in to be milked and afterwards when they exit the milking barn.
No music, even better
Is there any reason you don't spray wash their feet before you start working on them?
I love the American accent!
Some don’t appreciate the time you take, I do. I enjoy your video’s. Lived on a diary farm till I was 10. Lived on a diary farm till I was 8. Never forget the hard work we did and the hard work you do. Thanks.
love the starting of this this made me laugh!
I bet she feels better without those high heels. I can't wear heels at all with my bad knees and back fusion so good on you for getting her out of those heels and more comfortable. 👏😎
I don't know who is doing your editing, but Bravo. Very slick and very professional. From the transition effect between shots, to the beautiful drone footage you have in many of your videos, and the music is really well done and chosen well. Good job.
That opening video was funny. I want to see your best American accent.
Good eye!
This cow is lame lol made.me.laugh
Plz mention the song title also you using . Thx
Lmbo love your narration 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hope the cow didn't get hurt
They don’t, even if you cut into the tissue it won’t hurt very much. A cows hoof is made out of Keratin so cutting their hoofs is the cow equivalent to clipping our nails.
I have no idea how I ended up at your channel, but your American advertiser accent in the intro is hilariously spot on.
These majestic cows, what do we owe them??? everything ! ! !
I loved your intro and so happy for you to start your hoof instructional classes. The world is your oyster!
I find this content pretty interesting to watch but maybe take it down a notch with the music selection?
Great intro. Very enjoyable.
I’ve been watching your videos for a very long time. I love it and so caring mate. I love the music in the intro, but couldn’t find the name of it.
@alistair clement thank you very much!
It's called fall into you
3:10 am... i cant stop
I’m sorry but the music sucks
must be cold , cold
Does that hurt the cow?
No, a cow hoof is legit just a giant toenail.
You are such a funny person, I hope you really enjoy your life!!
Yes please show full trims!
Your American accent is as bad as my Scottish accent lol
Im always curious in watching these vids say out of 100 cows how many get serious hoof issues as a result of just living in these barns
Less than half a % would fit all your criteria.
What accent was that?! lolll
I wounder if all that hoof that gets grinded off could be used for anything
Thank you for doing it real time. It is such an art and interesting to watch.
Epic intro!! LOL
It is a true pleasure watching a Master at work!
When he uses the knife, it reminds me of when I was younger and I had to peel potatoes for my mom ahahaha
This is the most satisfying thing I can ever watch...
Me: Why would anyone post videos of trimming a cow's hoof? Also me: This is like my 10th video I've watched, I may have a problem Also also me: What keeps the exposed flesh from getting infected from walking in manure?
I am new to the channel and really enjoying it! Your videos are so informative and entertaining. As an American who has never been to Scotland, I love the drone shots! I would like to know more about your training and experience. Also, how and why you got into this line of work. I mean, did 8 year old future Hoof GP wake up one morning and decide this is what he wanted to do when he grew up? :) Thanks! Keep up the great work!
One question....why dont u wash or spray water on them when the hoof is dirty with mud and poop before cutting?
Time and safety (water in the electrics is a very bad thing when you're using a grinder, as are slippery hooves and floors. Also, most viewers can't tell when a hoof has been washed and the most common time for him to be asked this, is when he's actually done it.
If possible make a video of normal anatomy of hoof.. Thanks

Anyone else find this satisfying like soap cutting
*nicks the noticeably bleeding legion* “Oh dats the OTHER cow mooing loudly in pain.” 🤣🤣. I get it though. The peta people are cray cray.
Besides from the hoofing, i like the backsound. Whats the title btw? Nice video!
I never realized there was so much involved in cow hoof maintenance.
Just wondering When trimming the cows hoof does it hurt the cow in anyway
You definitely have a fan in Jamaica bro
Don't speed up the video! Learning more that way!
I've watched other hoof trimming videos on UZworld and you are the best. Watching you is like watching a master chef. Watching the other trimmers is like watching someone heat up a frozen pizza.
What type of blade or knife is that? It must be so strong and sharp, and it looks flexible too. Probably a pretty expensive tool I'd think
Think all cows should have blocks anyway
That wouldn't really help though.
Cool video! New sub
Looks better you going slower 👋👋👋👋👋
Do you have a name that we can call you please??¿??? Just seems abit more sociable.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 .
He's called Graeme.
New subscriber!!!!!!!
Love the real time process, looking forward to the next instalment! 😊
I just saw a video on face book for the hoof GP but was a different person trimming a Belgian horse Is that you channel also?
No, it's not his. Edit I tell a lie, it is his, I missed that one.
Love the videos man. Im not huge into farming but your videos are just relaxing and satisfying to watch. The funny thing is i watch at night before bed with my 7 month old and the music in your videos puts my daughter to sleep
These videos are so entertaining! I’m a city slicker and I check all of your videos. Keep it up !
Love the videos!! And the music too!!
If you plan on shortening the videos by speeding up the process/video or just skipping some bits. Do yourself and the viewer a favor and upload the full length videos (of the procedure with, cleaning etc. Maybe editing downtime out) in here or just on a separate channel (if you'd prefer this one to be simpler/tidy or so.) I for one can say that this is fascinating, interesting and I'd watch way longer bits of this kind of work being done. Longer videos = more ad reveue and less editing or atleast less than one of these simplified vids. Edit: Saw this video on recommended (first on I've seen of your vids, unfamiliar with the channel) so I don't know if you do this already or not. So if you don't think bout it.
What else is there to say but, “eet mor chikin!”?
The cow practically howling in the background really adds a dramatic flair to this video lol
It’s amazing at the videos that pop up on your recommended feed
How do wild cows, horses and other hoofed animals keep there hooves? Do they just wear over time and not get too out of hand?
Do you put a shoe on every cow that has an ulcer?
@alistair clement I understand the process cause im doing the job myself aswell. What im asking is does he put a shoe on every cow that has an ulcer. I woud not put a shoe on this cow for instance cause the ulcer is startin to dry out. I avoid it as much as i can( difrent biomehanics when she walks, money, etc).Im not sayin that its wrong or right i just dont see much benefit from it from my experince.. And i woud never put a shoe on a cow that has both back legs in ulcers.
Not every cow no, he trims some that have enough depth in the good claw, that it will act as a block itself.
I oddly enjoyed every second of that...
Excellent job. Congrats
I prefer it when you keep it in real time. It is very satisfying, restful, very reassuring to know the full process. I am truly not bored by the process. I love to see it all.
You are a great guy you make these animal live more in more comfort and its very good
how 812 doing
❤️🐮
I dont understand what is going on. Please explain
Serio? masi alguém aguenta esses videos ensinando a ganhar MONEY??????
Came for the satisfaction of seeing hoof trimming and left with lots of useful info. Thanks a bunch~.
I just love to watch your videos! Looking forward to the challenge Aaron made 😃 When will the orange hoodies be available again?
Happy (slightly belated) one year anniversary of Craig joining the channel!!! I went back to watch some of the older vids of Gracie and noticed you saying that Craig would be joining soon, so I checked the dates out of curiosity and apparently he started working with you on January 8th! Here’s to another great year for the hoof dream team!!
You can clean her foot, but you have a nife that cuts her deep ski, soo sadness, everyone is bling. I hope and pray you never be a Doctor in Surgerys, ??????????F....ck oh mi dios salva a los animales, de todos estos locos,
OH MY GOD THAT HURT HER. SHE IS IN PAIN,YOU CUT TOO MUCH LOOK THE BLOOD, OH MY GOD, WHAT A ABUSER, IF YOU GLUD ANOTHER NAIL IN A OPEN NAIL IS GOING TO BE A INFENCION I'M SO SAD THEY DO HAVE FEELINGS, I FEEL SORRY FOR EVERY ANIMAL IN OUR WORLD, AMEN 01/14/2021, USA 2:04am
You've completely no idea, what you're talking about, he's curing them, not abusing them
she walks away expecting pain and before she even really reaches the door she has regained confidence in her feet.. its pretty cool to see.
Can anyone tell where I ge hoof gp merch?
you don't at the moment.
I actually like the full clip rather than cut parts. I like the full process, it's a lot more interesting! 😊
Almost fell asleep, was so relaxed watching this
I love seeing the full trim. Keep up with the videos, I’m addicted to watching them
i thank if i worked in a place like a cow barn i'd probably plug up my nose with tampons lol 😂😃😄😅😁 cause i don't thank i could take/handle the smell lmao 🤢 even though i've been to a horse barn so many times when i was younger haha
I actually enjoy when you show the entire trim and not fast forwarded/skipped. I find it very calming and relaxing to watch.
Smoke a blunt and turn on Hood GP stg you will not turn it off
Okay how can I get an apprenticeship with this guy??!?!?!
You can't get an apprenticeship, however, he is looking at online courses.
What is the difference in all the different sprays you use and why do you use different types of blocks?
Do you always wash the cows hooves if so why and if you don't why don't you. Watching from the state of Ohio in America. Love your channel.
is this hurting the cow in any way???
Dumb question, maybe answered already. Sorry if it was. When trimming the ulcered area, is it painful? Are there nerve endings in the ulcerated area or is it just dead tissue of sorts? It doesn't appear to bother the lady. Thanks so much and for the videos.
