In this episode, we react to Gio's Cesar 911 Episode. Gio was labeled as an aggressive dog, but in the end he was just a misunderstood pug. After going through 5 homes, I was called into his 6th home situation.
Years later, Gio and I watch his episode. Learn more about our journey in this video!
We love you Gio! Glad you are a part of our pack.

Awww him and junior being besties 🥰🥰
Looks like geo is happy being with you.. I hope my Dog can sit like that the whole time while I’m talking
Cesar! Me encanta este nuevo formato de video! It's very relatable, honest, intimate. And of course I am so happy that Gio is doing SO well living with you y tu manada. When Shannon said: "I brought him in where everything was peaceful & calm & allowed him to run the show..." THAT, right there, is where she went wrong!!! It's amazing to me that she couldn't see that.
SWEET, this needs to be taught in schools ..... Best WISHES
Cesar would you do the story of you and Holly?🙏🙏🙏
Yay Gio. He looks so happy with you. Amazing how much our emotions can influence them
Pug gets swift toecap to the nutts and never bites anyone ever again
She clearly had some other issues with her family. I bet she's divorced today.
i love all of cesars shows, but man most of those dog owners are completely clueless. frustrating to watch their weak energy
He's like a reformed prisoner, goodest boy now.
Is no one going to address the fact that even after biting 6 times that we know of (4× daughter, 2x her) she says without batting an eye she would divorce her husband over the dog. Gio might be fixed but that husband is still living with a woman that's with him only as long as it's convenient.
aw gio is so adorbs!
Awesome!!!
My dog recently got into a fight with our neighbor dog, it was brutal, and sad 😔
As an owner of many Pugs over the years, let me tell you. That lady has no business owning a Pug! She was CRAZY!!!
I wouldn't say crazy, just wrongly-motivated! So many women, unfortunately, choose small dogs as a baby-substitute, when the dog thinks it's meant to be a companion or protector. No wonder they have problems! 🙂
I need to learn from this. I usually do this to my dogs thot giving more wud be ok.
Our pack is made up of rescues. Up to four at a time. They "senior out" if you know what I mean. Sometimes we adopt a senior too. The most recent was a 10 year old. If the 'new guy' bites, I always think- What did I do to make it happen? What was I thinking and feeling at that time? It is because of Cesar. My healthy, happy dogs have Him to thank.
Donde los puedo ver los capítulos de tu serie aquí en México?
Love you Cesar, you get it!
Omg WOW A PUG WHO BITES?!
For be on my wall, i Can comment, '' gun dog tv'' only. Who Can prétend understand animals? No one, see Dexie the dog on gundogtv and reflect yourself
overmedicated owners...
So glad to see that Gio has lost weight and no longer looks like a breadbox, like 99.9% of the pugs in this world.
She choose a dog over her husband... they should definitely separate. Husband deserves better.
This applies to people too not just dogs seriously. Lol
Love + boundaries + limitations + structure + good home = good dog
if a man loves DOG he is a god MAN , if a DOG loves MAN he is a god MAN .
🧐 does this strategy work on humans too 🤔🤔🤔
Aggressive dog??? If u really want a challenge pls reach out🙏🙏🙏🙏My cousin adopted a dog that has bitten everyone...and who's bite landed me in the hospital 😭😪 for 4 days😭. If u want a show stopper pls reach out🙏🐾🥰love yr show💖
That is really serious. First of all do some muzzle training. You can find a good video on aggressivedog.com and then contact a veterinary behaviourist if at all possible
I look up to you so much one day i want to have my own DRC in the netherlands😁
❤
The pug controls her.
Remember when Cartman tried to bite you ?
So pleased what a Happy ending you are so Amazing sure you've been put on this earth to teach others about animals you are an earth Angel 👼💜
I love how Cesar hypes up Gio. Makes my heart happy ❤️
Why does my dog respond well to most people... But never the mail man or SOME people on walks.
He might just dislike them. Whilst on walks, if it is not predictable, I would just keep your distance, for the mailman I would do some classical conditioning. Look up LAT (Look At That) Training as one way to do classical conditioning
Gio made the right decision to bite 6 other families because he got to Cesar and now best buddies with Junior. That's a dream life for all dogs.
This showed up in my recommended and I have been missing my pug who passed away a few months ago.
GIO: " Cesar dont do me like that "
Appreciate the review. Good info!
Where’s the Frenchie you had in your pack, Cesar?
And Geo is adorable!
We 💞 Caesar

Thx Cesar your amazing , love your work and love for animals. Can you feed a dog vegan food or animalproduct are essential to their health? specific amino acid not found in plants?
Check with a nutritionist or vet. Without basis I would say probably not
Cesar Millan, this is one of my favorite episodes. I love how you break down the relationship between Gio and the owner. I think a lot of dog owners would benefit from watching this episode. As a dog trainer, I always learn something from you.
His response to calling her crazy was perfect. I just was blessed with a 8 year old bostinese girl. We are working on leash work and how she gets anxious when greeting other animals. I do allow her a certain amount of room when she wants to meet other animals however those animals also have their personality which I cannot control. So I distract her with me and its a large work in progress but it is working slowly but surely. She is adapting amazingly and has great manners but also craves that pack leadership. Very empathetic and the sweetest girl. However, Cesar is 100% right, smothering your animal because you need comfort is unfair to your fur family.
When I listen to you , I can't stop thinking about child education... I love you xx
His training works for kids and human relationships too lol
My chihuahua is a little fucking beast, but i love him :3
I’m glad Cesar that you’ve adopted Gio x
I think she’s crazy , not the dog . She just don’t understand animals
Gin thinks STOP CESAR IM A GOOD BOY NOW . Thanks for the video
Pugs generate baby or inocece feeling is inevitable not to fall into their spell. Love pugs you can se a lot of you in them.
My 9 year old Boston Terrier died in my arms a few hours ago. I lost a child today
@Mirrie1975 thank you
I'm sorry for your loss :( Losing a pet best friend is one of the hardest things in life.
Lucky Gio he is better off with Cesar
Gio really over there reflecting 😂
We need to be calm assertive. Dogs are to be calm submissive. That comes from disciple first, affection later. One of my best dog friends is a Dobe who's a bit larger than usual. He obeys well because of what you've taught me. Thanks, Cesar. 👍
I really respect and admire Cesar Millan. #RadheyKrishnaTrust
WOWZER 6 owners in 1 year and this is basically still mentally a very young inexperienced dog. Also amazes me that a entire family nearly broke up. All because these people don't stand up as the pack leaders.
@M. Z. Technically that is part of a hierarchy in the animal kingdom. I guess even in humans also. Plenty of rulers would have had similar things. Down to those that basically did the menial work would eat last. But i don't think in a human world with pets it makes much of a difference. That is personal preference. The minute the should be boss of the house allows a lvl of incompetence to cause the situation to get dangerous or unhealthy then people are doing it wrong. Currently i have a horse stabled at a public stabling area and one horse there has its owner so scared of her that she drags others down to deal with it. Basically the horse is boss. Apart from the fact the horse is dangerous if they for what ever reason need to re-home it they won't stand a chance. Probably have to be put down. This is one of the main reasons why we have levels of power. You don't see Caesar as example beating the life out of a animal. But you have to be firm and if needed stand your ground. But there is tons of ways of training but the basic who is in charge still needs to be met. Nice chatting but it is nearly 12am here i must go to bed.
@Areyousaying idontknowmyname I just see myself as an equal that happens to be able to gauge situations better which is why my dog has to listen. But yeah my problem with the alpha thing is that a lot of people use it as an excuse/reason for unwarranted force like the whole alpha roll stuff. Also some things are just stupid like the eating before your dog
@M. Z. This part of it i can not disagree on. Except for the part about a Alpha or omega not asking them to sit or come. Because as humans we are meant to be the Alpha etc. Otherwise what point are we. The animals are in charge and well they don't pay the bills. But there are many ways of teaching things. Being in charge does not mean you have to beat them into sitting. They just need to know they are meant to be listening. A animal that does not respect you won't listen.
@Areyousaying idontknowmyname yes there are loose hierarchies and yes there are more assertive individuals but that is not helpful for us in dogtraining. I mean even if you had a relly strict hierarchy an "alpha" would never ask a dog to sit, come, be quiet, not aggress against a third individual etc. I do agree that dogs feel better with strict rules however that is just because it makes life more predictabe and unpredactability is scary.
@M. Z. I appreciate you think this is legit. But ill go by what i see in the world. Pet animals tend to have a more loose hierarchy. But they still have a more dominant animal. Same with those in the wild. Next they will be doing studies that say Ants are free spirits and Bee's just like being bossed around. Just like kids. Dogs feel a lot more relaxed in a house if they don't have to play at being Alpha. If the human is in charge all they have to do is back them up. Even horses have Alphas and Omegas. Regardless of who termed the words it does not change they are the ones in charge and do so usually with aggression. Honestly can not think of any groups in the world that don't have at least one or more leaders.
Gio: doesn’t ring a bell
💜💕💜💕💜
I had a black pug. 16 years. Best dog on earth. I miss rocky.
Aww I love this and how you speak about Gio, Caesar. I can tell you love him and see him as part of your family. Great video 👍
Cesar is so relaxing
With my dog, I want him to walk behind me when we go through a narrow space. At first he didn't do it but now I just go there and he doesn't even try to get in front of me.
If you were a dog which one would you be?
💝💝💝
I learned so much from your advice Caesar. What would humans and the dogs do without your advice? Have a wonderful good year 2021 and stay healthy. All the best wishes to you, the family and to your pack sendet from Germany! We love you Ceasar❤
Gio is super sweet and cute, he is sitting there calmly next to Cesar. 😊 gio is thinking it's cool here
I wonder if Shannon got divorced, poor dog might have been getting blamed for human problems.
I sense that they were doomed to divorce. She was willing to dump her family rather than work on her own problems.
SWEET CESAR :D
sweet cute dog
César, acabo de encontrar tu canal pero me gustaría pudieran poner los subtítulos en español o hicieras algunos videos en español para quienes no sabemos inglés. Gracias y bendiciones desde México.
Thank God he has a good home now 👍👍👍
People need to take this training also on their kids. Tchs
Gio had it all planned out
Very good video. Super enjoyable
Caesar has such a beautiful heart!
Cesar is the original dog whisperer and he's still the best.

I always learnt so much from your videos! I now have a 6 month maltese puppy myself and her only issue is she goes insane when we go on walks lol she jumps and gets crazy excited over everything, I don't know how to make her walk instead of jump all over the place 😂
Wow. She’s giving up her husband for a dog. That’s just stupid.
#packnation
Love you ,Cesar
It melted my heart when Cesar said he hopes to see Gio in the next life.
Ehrenbruder kylo
pls wish u could help me with my mean male pug that bites me and people doesn't get long with my other dogs
@Ashley Martinez good luck:) If you feel it is too much for you you can also look for trainers on the APDT or IAABC website:)
@M. Z. thanks so much I will
@Ashley Martinez okay so that is probably resource guarding, resource guarding you and maybe resource guarding his toys when playing. He might also just be playing rough I can't say. However for the resource guarding you can find a pdf here www.simpawtico-training.com/learning/downloadables/ to get you started on the resource guarding. For more detailed help check out the book "Mine" by Jean Donaldson
@M. Z. I do and feed him.. he started at first when people got around me.. he didn't want no-one touch me.. the he stared getting agereive towards bigger dogs and. then when I start play with him on the floor. he starts to attack me. and my little pug he just started this Dec
Sound like he is undersocialized. What are the situations he bites you? First work on your bond. Maybe a good start would be by handfeeding him so that he learns that you being around is a good thing and isn't afraid/uncomfortable
7 homes in under a year? No wonder Gio was acting out, when you rehome a puppy at such a young age, it stresses them out, which in turn could cause then to act out in such a manner.
Cesa Milan has a unconditionnel heart with dogs !❤️🐕
Love from Germany❤️❤️🇩🇪
Had a German shepherd / rotti. In the past excellent dog's my best friend now is Romeo my pug. Everything you said is true 🙂 that women didn't have the patience of a clue
I’m so happy love it
Gio so content and calm sitting next to Cesar.
Can we stop breeding pugs and English bulldogs?? They have so many health issues. Yes they are sweet but it’s unfair to the dogs. English bulldogs have to get surgery on their eyelids, in their nose, and in the throat in order to breath and stay infection free. If we continue to breed these artificially created dogs we need to allow for natural breeding habits and dogs with breathing issues should never to bred. If the dogs have to have c sections for every birth, they shouldn’t be bred.
I could never forgive my wife if she ever contemplated divorcing me over a dog. Even after she decided to give it away, I would knock her to the curb. 🤦🏻♂️😂
I know any breed can be aggressive but this is just crazy to me. I’ve had 4 pugs and not only are they super sweet, but I’ve never even met an aggressive pug.
I don't care what people say your methods work so you aren't fake. I always watched your show and stuff I also watched you get your chiro adjustment and stuff and on ridiculousness. I'm a fan.
Gio is the cutest 🥰
