Mike Baxter, a happily married father of three daughters, tries to maintain his manliness in a home surrounded by women. Mike seeks refuge in his job at the Outdoor Man store and revels in his vlog, which he uses as a pulpit for his many opinions. After the events of the eighth season finale, during which Kristin went into labor with her baby daughter, while Mandy was pregnant with her first child, the series jumps ahead into the near future, when Mike and his wife, Vanessa, will contemplate their own future, including Mike’s imminent retirement from his lifelong job at Outdoor Man - and who could be his successor.

Sadly the way this show presented it lost me as a viewer. To imagine as political as this show began it seams like with everyone and everything people have retreated to biden’s basement along with their views and voice. This is sad.
Old Tim Allen looks like Present Payton Manning...weird.
I went to a taping in Feb 2020. It was awesome‼️
Had to take a shot at the lions..
It wasn't a horrible episode but it was hard to execute. I don't think in TV history had an actor to play two of their famous characters at the same time. The only time something like this was done is when Mork met Robin Williams. Reply if you remember another time.
I only watch this show for eve 😍
My kids love watching home improvement reruns with me. Blows me away the laughter that show still brings
Tim, we've found that shark you wanted to jump.
Lmfao
Just need a Scott Calvin cameo and everything is serene
Wish Jill would have showed, seen them both, and been like “Oh god there’s two of you.”
This is getting out of hand, there’s 2 of them now
God bless Tim Allen.
Two cocaine snitches on the same show
this show was great until the middle sister got recasted
I’m really gonna miss this show.
Time to bring Home Improvement back!!!
Buzz Lightyear meets Buzz Lightyear Tim Taylor meets Mike. UHH...NO COMMENT!
Like the time "Mike" met the handywoman played by Patricia Richardson.
I bet Tim Allen loved doing that scene
You Are Sad Strange Little Man.
Home improvement was better
I stopped watching this show a while back. I see i didn't miss anything this show is just sad and pathetic 😔
It’s...BEAUTIFUL!
Bring back home improvement
Was this episode recorded with a live audience? Probably not. Stupid pandemic
They say you’re your own worst critic. This just proved the point.
That was funny
This makes my little 90’s baby heart so happy 😁
The Tim Allen Cinematic Universe has been launched. Finally.
"Honey, why is there Santa Claus, and two very different, but still cocky, spacemen at the door?"
Can't believe they got Tim Allen.
@Ever Perez You missed the joke
You mean Tim Taylor?🤔
Wish they would have snuck a Buzz Lightyear toy in there somehow. Especially since this is on FOX who is owned by Disney.
I grew up watching home improvement! So hearing all those grunts brought back so many memories!
Whoops continuity error! On Home Improvement, Tool Time ran for 10 years, from 1989 to 1999. The season three finale of Home Improvement centered around the show's fifth anniversary
Did they just make a Tim Allen universe
I use to see home improvement when i was a kid. It's great to see him again as Tim Taylor.
Tim Allen has old man voice. That raspy whispy voice old men get, maybe all that grunting caught up to his vocal cords.
Tim Allen hasn't been shy about referencing old shows and bringing back former "Home Improvement" cast mates. I think this is terrific. I want to see the entire episode.
Al, Jill and Randy have each appeared on the show (as different characters).
There is a huge goof here. Tim said he had a show tool time for 8 years. However Home Improvement was on 8 seasons- which is why they had him say that, but 8 seasons of a show is actually 7 years amd about 9 months, but Tim Taylor had been doing tool time for years already when Home Improvement started, therefore Tim should have said he was on Tool Time for over ten years.
I love this show! 😂😂
I want to see a special effects breakdown of the handshake.
@Nick I think they used Mike's body as a matte and there was a digital arm/hand that came from behind Mike. You can see some derping on Mike's hand where they messed up the animation.
same! I think mikes head was digitally placed on a body double.
My dad loved Home Improvement and I love Last Man Standing. The two have collided and it’s great.
Home improvement was one of my all time favorite sitcoms in the 90's and Heidi was a knockout!😍
Dudes narcissistic. I liked him better when he was on drugs.
1:47 Ho Ho Ho?
That was awesome, instant classic in my book!
Mike looks more like Tim Taylor than Tim does.
@MrParkerman6 it makes more sense anyway since home improvement is an older show, i feel like its already implied that tim taylor is supposed to be a little older than mike
They put grey in Tim's hair to differentiate between the two.
Tag team
I mean all the easter eggs pointed to this needing to happen
Well I'll be sitting here all day trying to figure out how they did the handshake.....
Sheesh! Everybody's got to have their own ''universe'' these days. 😉
remember the ufo doctor doctor and please turn out the lights when she goes......... we salute you one and all. 🙃👽🌬️
they need to meet the comedian too at the daughters early commission at the afa for space force duty and party at the chapel hills mall santa tracker.... Spork would have been a better name woody. maybe #5 make it so mr spork
not much talk about those pistons in Detroit either
The mans bathroom, the mans kitchen, the mans bedroom and so many other I wish I had in my house
where is al?
This is like the “grandparent” trap
Want that binford t-shirt!
"BUZZ" around the office... oh tim!
Into the Tim-Verse
Home Improvement was 90s family comedy gold. Helped ABC dominate the Friday prime time sitcom wars.
This is awesome
Rumor has it that Home Improvement is going to make a comeback. I sure hope so cause from what I hear of Tim Allen's next television show "Assembly Required", it sounds more like a competition show and, personally, I don't think sounds all that appealing.
Ooh I see now they bring back the old version of him back on the show to meet older him
I dont get it isnt tim Taylor supposed to be dead in the series.
We wont mind at all if you bring tool time back as a matter of fact we would love having it back.
Big smile! Go Lions 👍🏼
I was so tited last wk, I went to bed & Missed the episode I was lookin' forward to. Waoting for it to upload on Movezy App on my tablet.
Imagine the pitch meeting for this show: let's recapture the aging Home Improvement audience by creating a show that's like Home Improvement, except the main characters are- wait for it- older!
It's hardly an inconvenience!
This episodes was great. However, watching episode three right now. Where is Jen? Lol.
That was pretty painful
1:47 Ho Ho Ho Santa Claus????
And they both get awkward Botox and face lifts.
Kinda stupid...
It's a bit like the mork and Mindy episode where mork meets robin Williams
Now I wonder what the rest of the Taylor family is up to.
... this show’s still on? It’s been on so long it’s looped back around to Home Improvement. It’s like a terrible Back to the Future.
I want to watch more, hopefully there are more seasons to come soon
There should be an episode where mike meets tim the toolman who meets scott calvin aka the santa clause
Well, that was kind of sad.
I love this show
That Lion's pun was on point lmao 🤣
I won't be impressed until Tom Hanks shows up in a cowboy suit.
Tom hanks is going to prison
sadly that did not seem like the tool man. It was more like Mike Baxter playing the tool man. There was none of the zing that was Tim the toolman. wonder if after all these years, he's forgotten how to do the tool man
He don't look the same at all.
Home improvement
Spoiler doesn't Mike convince Tim to bing back "Tool Time". So could Tim Allen bring back Home Improvement?
I can finally die
Unfortunately this episode was actually quite boring and this show in my opinion is not as great as it used to be. This was a great show but, it has lost it’s entertainment value.
Missing Santa Claus and Jason Nesmith
Please someone bring back home improvement, only if it's ten episodes, just bring it back
Tim Allen
🤣
Tim Allen might be a nut and I really do not like Last Man Standing, but this is cool ngl
That was cool to see. Tim Tool Man Taylor and Mike Baxter. Tim Allen is amazing.
Didn't he move out of Michigan in the last episode of Home Improvement?
It was Indiana. They moved the house with them.
Yes. He followed Jill to a new job in Illinois (or Indiana).
Tool time was on for more than 8 years when home improvement ended. They botched their own show
Backdoor pilot for Home Improvement reboot?? (Hey, they're dusting off every other property, so I wouldn't put it past them)
Thank you for posting this. HI was a childhood memory. No so with LMS but still
Something like this should have been done for modern family Goes to bed with Gloria, wakes up and there's Peggy 😂 Al!!!! Noooooooooooooooooooooooo
Ohhh the BEST Halloween TV episodes of my childhood!!!! UhhhhhAhhhhhh
