  • Million Dollar Potential in Ruvol I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that is guaranteed to be far more challenging and exciting than CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.” Over time, Ruvol will surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.” Why am I so sure about this? Because I am an avid chess player myself. The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play. HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED? Ruvol is played somewhat like chess. It is played by two players. It uses a board that is rectangular in shape but contains more number of squares than chess. It has equal number of pieces on each side of the board, where each type of pieces moves in distinct ways. However, if the way to win chess is to checkmate the opponent’s king, the way to win Ruvol is to be able to cross a designated line. But there’s one big advantage Ruvol has over chess: The Ruvol pieces don’t have a fixed position at the start of the game. It is the players themselves who dictate the starting position, depending on the strategies they have planned before the game starts, making it impossible for any clever player to memorize the opening moves. A MILLION DOLLAR POTENTIAL IN RUVOL! The people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. These 800 million players comprise the “Total Potential Buyers” of Ruvol across the globe. At an average profit of just US$3 per set, the “Global Income Potential” of Ruvol then is US$2.4 billion. Assuming only 1% of it will buy each year, the annual global potential sale of Ruvol is US$24M. I AM LOOKING FOR AN INVESTOR! For the reason that I don’t have the resources to publish Ruvol on a global scale, you might be interested to have the exclusive right to manufacture and market Ruvol globally under a “licensing agreement.” Or better yet, just “BUY MY COPYRIGHT” and Ruvol is entirely yours. Email me at: rodolfovitangcol@gmail.com. Thanks and God bless! RODOLFO MARTIN VITANGCOL The Ruvol Inventor

  • Thank you Patrick @Valuetainment this was fascinating albeit a bit over my head (as in helping me in my day to day life). I would LOVE a presentation , or better yet a series with this security expert, addressing issues an average person like me faces, and how I can protect myself. My "average" I mean someone who does not work in the 'tech' world, but those of us using it at home, or for a small business and do not have much of a tech background at all. I imagine there are a lot of folks out there like me. with the scamdemic, (sorry if that offends anyone, but I'm a scientist by training :) ) , we are being forced to use our computers and phones more and more. I couldn't order a bloody cup of coffee from the local coffee shop without downloading an app! You couldn't even call and place an order on the phone. Naturally, went elsewhere. I have an old phone, it barely supports text , email and photos, I can't download an app for every place I need to shop (nor am I sure I should). I'm think of a "security for Dummies" series or talk!

It is no longer acceptable to do as your enemy’s have been doing for a long time. Rewarding criminality and offensive action. Protecting your assets again is not enough. The utilisation or culturing of not just the smart ones, but the whole population is required. They have an entire free army in their public that not only are segregated, but are openly being brewed for offence. Pls dont take these words lightly. We have wasted too much time in this out flank. • When crony capitalism and free market starts working for other nations, you shouldn't suddenly be opposed to everything it is. You should probably invest and accept globalization

    mandorian macintoshmandorian macintosh3 oy oldin
    • @General Spalding end of the day, if every nation in the world turns socialist, then places like America will become socialist or be forced to eat itself like a snake. Predatory behavior never stops because prey is not available

      mandorian macintoshmandorian macintosh3 oy oldin
    • @General Spalding I was being sarcastic! Predatory economics doesn't solve any problem, it created more by simply passing the bill. But this works fo the user because it's the core principle of what capitalism is "taking advantage". This is why socialism becomes the guide or balance for free market. China has master socialism in free market and this is the problem.. US history says cronyism is acceptable, but admiting socialism has benefits is something they can't bring themselves to do, because they rightly fear giving socialism too much power. It shouldn't have too much power but, we can't create false perception that it's simply a bad thing. Many people know enough to understand that's not true. Socialism can be a medication for failing economy, but like every medication it must be properly prescriped and never abused. Long story short, you'd be disappointed with your doctor if he misdiagnosed you or neglected to give you information and probably just as angry if he over prescribed multiple times the dose you needed. The same standards should apply to politics..

  • Two of my favorite professional topics. I was an Army Sigint Analyst with China being my target country during the Deng Xiaoping years. I've been in infosec since leaving the military in 1991. Agree with much of what was said. The security world has issues. Three major issues, IMO. 1) Companies really don't get the security function in their organization. It's something they know they need, but they haven't a clue what security does, or needs to do, to protect data. Too many think we're just nerds that fiddle with firewalls and AV. 2) Checklist audits are a serious problem. Checklists are grossly outdated and tries to fit everyone in the same box. The checklists haven't been updated to cover todays new technologies like Cloud. I'd like an auditor to tell me one day exactly where inside, outside, and DMZ are when your company is almost 100% Cloud. Why are auditors fixated on version history in my policy documents when my documents are stored in Confluence with versioning turned on? Audits remain lost in the old, traditional on-prem networks. I can show security groups with inbound and outbound rules, a firewall like function, but no I cannot export the running config for you. Audits today are ridiculous, and what they've become is a sales tool. Companies don't go through certification audits to become more secure. They get the audit certifications to sell their product. Customers won't buy your products if their vendor due dilligence process requires their vendors have security certifications. 3) There's knowlege gaps amongst security professionals. To be fair, security is now very broud - covering many areas. Hard to know and be an expert in all these areas. Most security professionals know network security. Many know system (OS level) security. Knowlege drops off significantly when we get to app and DB security. Even less with Cloud security. And virtually no one knows anything about API security which is a huge target area today. And encryption still, after all these years, causes mental breakdowns. Technology is advancing and both Auditors and Security people are not keeping pace. Security requires a team with members covering the many areas of security, but many companies hire one security guy because they have no clue what security has to do and they don't want to spend more to hire the expertise needed.

I like what Mr. Robertson says about auditing and the mindset that many companies have against learning what their liabilities are to proactively fix them. That "check the box" and do yearly training bit, too. I hope that one of the positives that comes out of this time in history is that American work culture goes through a long overdue change -- not just to work from home, but with other aspects of corporate functioning. We can't overhaul security threats or manage technology wisely if we don't update our culture and mindset, too!

  • We are analog in the digital world! You can find out how other countries are doing it & review, adopt, adapt & evolve. Get the wheel moving. Technocracy is the latest war & defence. Use algorithm to filter & analyse & identify.

    • Agreed, EV's are always-connected/always-on, mobile supercomputers watching your every move. Big, big privacy compromise when you purchase one and have no say as to what or how the data is being recorded, not to mention hackers who play by no rules.

  • The problem is the people at the top have not understood the tech and the problems with security, it was only a matter of time before our enemy's started to see the internet as a tool to use against us. We have been caught napping. Time to spend some of that defense budget on Cyber!! Giving the power to the Tech Companies to govern it is not the answer, the truth is Governments do not want to spend billions on Cyber and are trying to make Tech Companies responsible, i resent that, i do not want them to have power over what i see or don't. Private Companies exist to make money nothing more. We must do more to encourage data breaches as discussed. Thank God, that we are now waking up to the threat from Cyber and for the video, we need more as most are oblivious to the problem.
