I’m not sure I will have to check but I thought it had to do with the donkey carrying Mary while she was with child. I know if you look at any striped cats have an M on their foreheads as a blessing from Mary. The story is the baby Jesus would not calm down until a cat got in the manger payed down and started to purr which quite’d him down. She is beautiful and sassy I Love it.

A lot of farmers in the southwest have donkeys to protect chickens and other animals from coyotes.

I had a kidnap attempt with my oldest daughter when she was 2 1/2 so call me paranoid or whatever but I used the chest carriers with my last 2.

Yes everything you are saying is how I am with my kids. I have a 9yr old boy and 11 yr old girl and I still hold their hands in parking lots too. I guess that is a parent thing. Kids grow up wayyyyy to FAST. Makes me so sad at times. Baby Beverly is adorable, at least you still have babies around you Lester. 😍🐐🐖🦃🦙🐔🐎🐈‍⬛🐕

I'm 25 years old and I still hold my mom's hand across the parking lot (or anywhere). She held my hand when I was young to protect me, and I hold her hand as she grows older to protect her.

There's nothing wrong with giving your sanctuary a safe place for all of your babies. You can do whatever you want anyway sad people have to raise cain with you over everything. Lester, I've always loved kids so much more once they reached 6 months. To me that's when they actually become little people. Before that they're just a gift from God to you. But when the crawling starts....wow...here we go. Yep 6 months does it for me. 😆

There is a place up here in Western Kentucky at lake Barkley it's a min golf course and in the back the man that owns it has a bunch of animals. He even has a zonkey and he has a camel. He take very good care of them and he has goats. I love to go up there in the spring and see all the babies and new ones too.

Regarding your comment about donkeys in Mexico. I was traveling with my family to Rosarita beach to have fresh lobsters and I noticed donkeys painted like zebras and tied up to a tree for lord knows how long along the beach waiting for some Idiota to ride them, it was distressing & I couldn’t get it out of my head that they’re just baking in the sun. Soon some extremely intoxicated very large fools in a group began ‘trying’ to ride them. I felt very helpless. Thank you, You and your family are great advocates for rescues💗 I love your channel.

Hello, There is a small petting zoo near where I live and they have a Donkey named Zeke. He is part donkey and part Zebra. Anyway he looked just like Beverley when he was that little.
